Privacy Policy

Figure It Quick is built around browser-based calculators and helpers. Most calculator entries are processed on the page, while optional saved comparisons and recent-tool features are stored in your own browser.

Calculator inputs

The calculators and utilities run in the browser using JavaScript. Values you type into calculator fields, text counters, JSON tools or similar utilities are used locally to produce the result shown on the page. Ordinary calculator use does not require an account.

Some features can keep information on your device. Saved comparisons, recently used tools and challenge completion markers use browser local storage so they are available when you return using the same browser. This data is not an account record and can be removed by using the clear buttons provided on the site or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Share links

The share link feature creates a URL containing the current calculator entries, so the same calculator can open again with the same inputs. The entries are placed in the page address. Anyone who receives that link, or who can see your browser history or copied link, may be able to read those entries.

Do not put sensitive personal, financial, medical, school or private information into a calculator link if you would not want that information visible in the URL.

Contact form and email

If you use the contact form, the details you provide, such as your name, email address, topic, page URL and message, are sent so the enquiry can be read and answered where needed. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce spam and an email delivery provider to send the message to the site mailbox.

The lawful basis for this contact processing is legitimate interests: responding to site feedback, calculator corrections, broken links, privacy questions and other enquiries. Contact messages should be kept only for as long as needed to handle the message, maintain a reasonable record of the conversation, or deal with a related issue.

Please do not send sensitive personal information through the contact form. Calculator issue reports usually only need the page URL, the numbers entered and a short description of the problem.

Cookies, local storage and consent

The calculator result itself is normally produced in the browser without needing cookies. Optional convenience features use local storage for saved comparisons, recent tools and completed challenge markers. These features are designed to improve the experience on the same device rather than identify you across devices.

The site is being prepared for Google AdSense. When AdSense is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, web beacons, IP addresses or similar technologies to serve, measure and personalize ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on visits to this site or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on those visits. Users can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings.

For visitors in the UK, European Economic Area and Switzerland, Google requires AdSense publishers to use a Google-certified consent management platform that integrates with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework when serving ads that require that consent flow.

The site includes Google AdSense publisher code while review is pending. Ads may not serve until Google approves the site and the required consent message is configured. In regions where consent is required, ad serving may be limited or paused if the consent message is not available.

If analytics, personalization, embedded media, tracking pixels or any other non-essential storage technology is enabled later, visitors should be given clear information and any required consent choices before those technologies are used.

Advertising areas

Some pages contain reserved advertising spaces. They are placeholders unless advertising IDs, a certified consent message and advertising scripts are configured. If Google AdSense is enabled, Google may process data as described in Google's advertising and partner site policies. Visitors can read more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Hosting logs

When the site is deployed, the hosting provider may automatically receive technical information such as IP address, requested URL, browser user agent, referring page and request time. These logs are normally used for security, debugging, abuse prevention and basic service operation. Because share links store calculator entries in the URL, those entries may appear in request URLs handled by the hosting provider when a shared link is opened.

External links

Some articles link to external sources such as government, educational or standards websites. If you follow an external link, that destination site is responsible for its own privacy practices.

Children

This site is intended as a general information and utility website. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Student tools are calculation utilities and do not require users to create accounts or submit school records.

Health, finance and education inputs

Some calculators ask for numbers that may relate to health, money, school or home planning. Those numbers are processed locally in the browser by the static page. You should still avoid entering information into any public or shared device if you do not want others with access to that device to see it.

Policy updates

This page may be updated when site features, advertising, consent tools or contact options change. The latest version will be posted here.
