The calculator applies saving and giving percentages first, then leaves the rest as spending money. It turns one amount into three simple buckets.
With 10 allowance, saving 40% puts 4 into savings. Giving 10% puts 1 aside, leaving 5 to spend.
Percentages should not add to more than 100. If they do, there is no spending money left and the plan needs changing.
